On January 19, 2020, the cold but sunny afternoon, the Greater Princeton Branch of AYLUS (GPA) Humanitarian Care Team went to New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home to stick to their volunteer activities between 1pm and 5pm.
The volunteers walked around the residents’ rooms, socialized with the seniors with the news and stories, helped them take part in the trivia competition. They transported the seniors to the town square, joining the party “The Good Old Days Reminiscing”. The seniors had a great time with volunteers’ care. The volunteers cherish the old stories and the good times of the present with the veterans.
