On Friday, December 27th, Eason helped teach English to senior citizens at the Fulton County Senior Center from 9:30 to 10:30 (one hour). This activity was meant to help the senior citizens integrate themselves into their community with an enhanced grasp of English, as well as assist them in completing daily activities (grocery shopping) and navigating.
During this hour, the volunteer was able to teach 11 senior citizens how to talk about themselves. This strengthened both the senior citizens’ and the volunteer’s language skill, and increased confidence on both sides. The volunteer that participated was Eason Fang.
