On May 4th, 2019, Greater Princeton AYLUS, NJ Branch (GPA) prepared for its first “Artistic Perspective, College Planning” Award Winning Art Exhibition, sponsored by GPA and United States Education Management, Sharron Art Center Community Committees.The art exhibition has been scheduled for Friday, June 7th, 2019, from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, at 2011 Rt. 130 S, South Brunswick, NJ 08902.
GPA members Zihui (Alisa) Xiao, Jennifer Liu, Olivia Tang, and Cassie Tammy Wang spent 3 hours in the afternoon to hang lots of art works and put labels on the wall next to the arts.

Cassie Tammy Wang, a ninth grader at WWP HS South, has been a student at SAC for 7 years. Winner of many national and global art competitions. Since 2017, she has received 1 gold from the national Scholastic, and 10 gold, 8 silver, 12 honorable mention from the regional Scholastic competitions. Cassie created a volunteering organization – Greater Princeton Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (GPA) and received President’s Volunteer Service Awards gold medals for her service in 2016-2018. Also selected Art Editor-in-Chief for a newspaper, Cassie is diligently leading her fellows to better serve community and to make a difference. Works for exhibition: 25
Xinyi Christine Zhang, an eighth-grader at Crossroads North Middle School in South Brunswick, New Jersey, does many activities like violin and debate and is apart of her school Science Olympiad team. Xinyi has been a student at SAC for 7 years, and winner of many national and global art competitions. Since 2018, she has received 1 silver from the national Scholastic; 4 gold, 4 silver, and 4 honorable mention from regional Scholastic competitions. Works for exhibition: 12
Georgia Liu, a senior at Pingry High School, has been a student at SAC for 5 years. She loves art and does fencing at school. Georgia rarely participates art competitions, while recently, her art earned her 3 gold (including her art portfolio for her dream school – Brown University), 3 silver, and 3 honorable mention from the regional Scholastic competition. Georgia has been accepted to Brown in winter 2018, and will be attending starting Fall 2019. Works for exhibition: 15
Olivia Tang, a senior at Governor Livingston HS, has been a student at SAC for 6 years, but her passion for art has been around much longer. Her goal as an artist is to open a dialogue with her audience that can communicate ideas that can’t be expressed adequately using language. Her art has earned her 7 gold, 2 silver, and 10 honorable mention from the regional Scholastic competitions. Olivia has been accepted to Carnegie Mellon and Rhode Island School of Design with scholarship. She plans to attend Mellon starting Fall 2019. Works for exhibition: 12
