Edison Branch, April 13th, 2019
The AYLUS Edison Branch conducted the community service event at New Jersey Veteran’s Memorial Home on April 13th, 2019. Xin Chen, Prince Hu, Angela Hu, Qin Zhang and Anmei Deng went to the veteran home and made Social Activity with the seniors. In the previous section of the volunteer activity, we did feel the old people like our communication and care, We communicated with the seniors with news story in the schools and the community, even in the state and all over the world. , listened to their stories and helped the people to walk around if needed. Then we transported the disabled seniors to the cafeteria to attend the social event “Bingo Game”. We helped the seniors to play the bingo game, listening to the numbers, toggling the card, shared the joy of “Bingo”. We spent a happy afternoon with the seniors, harvest the happiness of serving the community at the same time. Finally we transported the seniors back respectively.
