On the 6th of April 2019, members of the Fairfax AYLUS branch helped Riverbend Park host their annual Bluebell Festival.
Every spring, Virginia bluebells come into full bloom at Riverbend Park. To mark this date, Riverbend Park hosts its annual Bluebell Festival. In addition to viewing the bluebells, visitors can also enjoy the other activities planned by the Riverbend Park staff such as the Wildflower Walk, arts and crafts, canoe magnet fishing, ninja course, moonbounce, face painting, animal exhibit, puppet show, wagon ride, and longhouse exhibit.
