Greater Princeton AYLUS (GPA) member Steven Chi served community as an assistant coach for one of the four “LEGO Robotics Teams” in the West Windsor School District. Steven spent his valuable time on each day of February 10th, 17th, and 24th to coach the LEGO Robotics Team, and he will continue working as an assistant coach on the weekly basis each Sunday going forward.
Activities of Steven Chi:
On February 10th, 6:30-9:00 pm, the team finished their racing project with half of the groups completing the mission. They have moved onto doing separate projects, including a crane, robot dog, and a color sorter. The crane group almost finished building while the other two groups are still a little behind. Time served: 2.5 hours.
On February 10th, 6:30-9:00 pm, the groups continued to build their separate projects. The group that almost finished rebuilt theirs to fix an error while the other two finished building. All groups started implementing the programming. Time served: 2.5 hours.
On February 24th, 6:30-9:00 pm, the team finished their separate mission and all of them have been successful. One group created a crane, another created a dog and the third one created a color sorter. All of these came with a program template and the groups built the sets according to a instruction manual. They will fine tune it next week and then the groups will rotate and do another groups project. Time served: 2.5 hours.
