On February 23rd, 2019, AYLUS helped volunteer for the third time at the TMSCA Math and Science State Qualifier hosted by Pearland Junior High West.
Over the course of 7 hours, 23 volunteers from AYLUS worked alongside school administration and other volunteers to work in variety of positions, from proctoring tests to running tests to graders to grading tests, as well as running the concessions stand.
Many volunteers were former students that took the same test, allowing them to connect with those taking the tests, as well as former students that went to the school, making this experience nostalgic. Running these tests was a great experience to see both sides of the spectrum. The volunteers were able to make this meet extremely successful!
