San Diego Branch organized 61st Computer for Kids Lab on January 19th, 2019

On January 19th, 2019, students from the San Diego Branch of AYLUS organized and participated in the 61st Computer for Kids Lab, repairing and cleaning electronic devices in order to prepare them to send to children of low-income families. This helps the kids achieve academic success through possible access to technology.

The participants did the following:

  • The 8 students refurbished a computer

So far, the San Diego branch students have accomplished the following since the first Computer for Kids Lab of this year:

  • Diagnosed, repaired, tested, or sleeved 4,496 notebooks/netbooks/laptops/tablets/desktops
  • Tested and repaired 340 LCD monitors
  • Diagnosed, tested, wiped, counted, removed and cloned 4,170 hard drives
  • Wrapped, folded, sorted, and packed 12,960 mice/keyboards/power cords/adapters/batteries
  • Tested and Bagged 125 Speakers

The following members participated: Aaron Fan, Victor Ku, Eric Li, Andrew Xu, and Alexander Zhang.

The AYLUS San Diego Committee organized the 61st Computer for Kids Lab.
