On December 2, 2018, members from East Cobb Branch participated in Orange Charity Sale, the money collected will be donated to students from low income family, it will cover the tuitions, stationary, etc.for those eligible students. Selina Huang and her little brother, Steven helped trade out the rotten oranges for the good ones. We would hold good oranges to give to the people with the rotten oranges and put them into a bucket to betaken away. Larry Cai helped to load the orange box to the cars.
When we got there, the weather was clear, and the air was still. At the center of the building there was a huge mass of oranges in cardboard boxes.
Selina Huang and Steven got 2 boxes of completely good boxes of oranges. Whenever a person who had an orange that was moldy or spoiled, they would come up to us and ask for a good orange from one of our baskets. Next, we would give 1 or 2 to him/her and they would give us the moldy or spoiled orange. Then, we would put it in a cardboard box.
In total, we collected around 16 bad oranges. Larry Cailoaded a pile of boxes.
