AYLUS Fort Bend TX Branch president, Eric, has been on a mission to mentor mathlets for the math competitions at the middle school he used to attend. He goes to the middle school every Thursday since August 2015 to organize training sessions and mentor students for 3 to 4 hours each time. He enjoys the mentoring work as much as he enjoys solving hard math problems. As a 2015 MathCounts National winner and USJMO qualifier, he sure hopes his volunteer work will help the younger schoolmates to make their ways to the peak of math competitions.
