On Aug 9th, 2015, the Fort Bend Robotics Team held a seminar to show their recent product to the community. Due to the overwhelming participation, this seminar had to change its site three times in order to allow more people to be able to join. By word of mouth, there were more than 100 people attending the seminar. The hall was packed with visitors, and they had to split the meeting into 2 sessions. This meeting was also the first showcasing of the robot to the public. Thanks to Gan’s tireless dedication, the robot progressed further in its building stage, and was able to be controlled by a console.
Their robotics project made a surprising frog leap. The team would contribute this phenomenal success to the persistence of its team members, and to parents’ enthusiastic support behind the scenes.
