As part of a long-term effort, members of the AYLUS Rancho Santa Margarita donated used shoes to Soles4Souls to provide relief to people in need, whether that be a humanitarian crisis or poverty.
Members brought their used shoes in bags/boxes to the event and dropped them off with Steven Zhou. Then, Steven shipped the shoes off to the Soles4Souls warehouse.
This project provides a space where old items can be repurposed for the greater good. The Soles4Souls organization prevents these old shoes from filling our landfills. During this activity. Members learn the important environmental and philanthropic senses of recycling and reusing.
