Albany Branch raises money for the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society through their Empties for Animals Team #1 (06/20/21)

On June 20th, 2021, Albany Branch members worked with the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society’s   “Empties for Animals Team” and sorted donated bottles and cans. They get 8 cents per bottle & can sorted. While that seems small, it adds up! In 2019 they sorted $135,000 worth of bottles and cans. Not only does this help with recycling in our community, but all the proceeds go directly towards the animals in the Society’s care!
