On October 17th, members of the Williamsville branch of AYLUS participated in the Citizen Archivist program by transcribing and tagging documents for the National Archives and Records Administration. They transcribed and tagged many different documents from a variety of topics, including final payment vouchers, air force award cards, and bureau of public road documents, in hopes of allowing the general public to more easily access and find these valuable documents. Williamsville AYLUS will continue to participate in the Citizen Archivist program each week.
