On October 4th, members of the Syosset AYLUS branch walked in the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s Event. This event celebrates the commitment to ending the disease and unifies the community against Alzheimer’s.
The walk was held at Eisenhower Park Field 6, with a distance of 2 miles! Volunteers had an amazing time constructing flowers, helping vendors, and walking with other volunteers to end Alzheimer’s.
We had an amazing time working with local volunteers, enjoyed complementary snacks and beverages, and had a great time spreading awareness for the commitment to end Alzheimer’s.
