AYLUS Great Neck Branch Volunteers play sports with kids at firefighters park 78th (10/9/2026)

On October 9th, 2026 members of AYLUS visited firefighter park to play with the kids there. It was much more lively that day with the nice autumn weather having a nice cool breeze. The first half of the events were hanging out with Jack at the swings and talking with Austin at the playground. Afterwards we went on to playing various sports and activities.
The games we played that day were table tennis and hide and seek but the most notable was tag with a slight twist. It included the runner not being able to stay on the ground at all and the seeker having a ten second time window to get on any platforms. Although these activities tired us out it was still enjoyable for everyone with the kids and volunteers there. The volunteers of AYLUS will continue to host events like these to help the kids have a more fun environment.
