On Tuesday, August 25th, the Great Neck AYLUS Branch hosted another productive session at the Great Neck Station Library. Even though it is the last week of summer, a plentiful number of students attended. Olivia Kang worked on a book with a student, focusing on reading fluidity and pronunciation. They also worked on a scavenger hunt in the library. Similarly, Junlin Yu and a student read books together, focusing on the same topics. Ivy Li and Summer Lu assisted a pair of students with English work, which included writing and reading, assisting when needed. Due to their work, the students successfully completed their assignments. It was a successful session, and each tutor had a child to work with. The next session will be Thursday, August 27th.
