AYLUS Roslyn hosts Arts & Crafts Workshop to create handmade items that are donated on August 16, 2026 (9th)

On Sunday, August 16, the AYLUS Roslyn branch hosted its fifth Crochet Workshop from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM. During the workshop, volunteers continued working on handmade drawstring bags.

At the beginning of the workshop, volunteers prepared their crochet materials and continued practicing and making drawstring bags. Members worked together, shared techniques, and helped each other throughout the activity. Returning members brought their own materials when possible, while supplies were also provided for new members so that everyone could participate.

The workshop was a great opportunity for volunteers to learn and practice crochet while creating handmade items that can be donated to community organizations. Everyone worked patiently and cooperatively, and the three-and-a-half-hour workshop was both productive and enjoyable.

Overall, this was another successful Crochet Workshop for the AYLUS Roslyn branch. We are happy that both returning and new members were able to participate, and we look forward to continuing to make more handmade items and serving our community through future workshops.
