AYLUS Garden City members continued their collaboration with WeArt GC Studio to decorate breakfast bags for the Kids Independent Food Program (KIFP) on 11/18 11:30am-12:00pm. Volunteers, Luis Ye, Daniel Quinn, Sophia Quinn, Lynnea Li, Natalie Yu, and Leanne Ng, used their artistic skills and creativity to create unique, colorful designs on paper bags intended for children receiving food assistance.
During the activity, students transformed ordinary brown paper bags into individually decorated works of art. Each design reflected the students’ creativity and personal artistic expression, adding a thoughtful and encouraging touch to the bags prepared for the program.
KIFP helps provide meals to children and families in need. By decorating the bags, student volunteers contributed to the program in a creative way, helping make the food distribution experience more welcoming for the children who receive them.
Through this ongoing partnership, AYLUS Garden City and WeArt GC Studio combine artistic expression with community service, giving students an opportunity to use their talents to benefit others. The activity also encourages students to recognize how creativity and small acts of kindness can make a positive difference in their community.
