AYLUS St. Louis Branch volunteer at St. Louis Area Foodbank 8/18/2026

One of our AYLUS members volunteered at the St. Louis Area Foodbank on 8/18/2026 and had a meaningful and rewarding experience serving the local community.

During the first shift (1-3pm), the volunteer helped bag green bell peppers and move baskets of potatoes to the packing station. During the second shift (3-4pm), the volunteer assisted with preparing care boxes for seniors in need, adding canned vegetables as the boxes moved through different stations along the packing line.

Although the work could be physically demanding at times, the experience was very rewarding. The Foodbank staff were kind, supportive, and helpful throughout both shifts. Most importantly, this volunteer effort contributed to providing food assistance to thousands of families and seniors across the Missouri and Illinois region.

AYLUS is proud to see our members giving their time and energy to help those in need and make a positive impact in our community.
