On June 13, 2026, three members of the AYLUS San Clemente Branch, Shuqi Hu, Tylon Zhou, and Miah Zhou, volunteered at the Niguel Botanical Preserve. The volunteers checked in at 8:45 am and worked together until 11:15 am, each contributing two and a half hours of service. During their time there, they helped maintain the preserve by pulling weeds from garden beds and landscaped areas. After finishing the weeding, they began adding mulch to sections of the preserve that had little or no mulch coverage. This helped improve the appearance of the gardens, retain soil moisture, and support the health of the plants. Both Shuqi, Tylon, and Miah supported the preserve by helping maintain the grounds and ensuring that visitors could enjoy a clean and well-kept environment.
