On April 12, the Frisco/Plano Branch of AYLUS hosted an Art in Action workshop at Melissa Library, continuing its effort to provide students with meaningful and creative community engagement opportunities. This session centered on postcard design for the AnyRefugee initiative, allowing participants to combine artistic expression with a purpose-driven message.
The workshop created a welcoming and focused environment where students explored different design ideas while contributing to a larger cause. Participants followed general guidance while also incorporating their own creativity, resulting in unique and thoughtful postcard designs. Volunteers supported the process by assisting with materials, offering feedback, and helping maintain an engaging atmosphere throughout the session.
By the end of the workshop, students completed their postcards and demonstrated both creativity and awareness of the initiative’s impact. The event offered a productive and meaningful experience, blending art with community involvement.
