From 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. PDT on Sunday, December 21st, members of the Saratoga AYLUS branch volunteered with the organization CityTeam at its San Jose shelter location to provide meal prep assistance to those in need of food.
At this event, volunteers were able to prepare fresh mixed fruit and starchy vegetables donated from common grocery stores to the shelter in order to help the shelter better prepare to serve individuals the next day, in preparation for the Christmas holiday.
