From 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. PDT on Sunday, November 9th, members of the Saratoga AYLUS branch volunteered with the organization CityTeam at its San Jose shelter location to provide meal prep assistance to those in need of food.
At this event, volunteers were able to prepare freshly cut vegetables and mixed fruit donated from common grocery stores to the shelter in order to help the shelter better prepare to serve individuals the next day.
