On Tuesday March 3rd, Aylus high school volunteers gathered from 6:00 to 7:00PM at Great Neck Station Library to tutor and assist younger students with their studies. During this session, Summer Lu helped a 5th grader answer basic math questions like adding and subtracting. Meanwhile, Linzi Yeung helped a student with earth science by completing a castle learning assignment, specifically about and wind directions; Ivy Li helped as well. Yiqing Lu also helped a 5th grader on dividing decimals. Jason Zeng and Brian Zhang helped another student learn about punctuation rules. In conclusion, the tutoring session was efficient and benefitted many students with their studies.
