On February 25th, 2026, AYLUS Lake Washington Branch members Elissa Song and Emily Qi volunteered at Eastlake High School’s National Foreign Language Week Feast and Showcase. They helped event set up and preparations, setting up tables and decorating the interior with flags of various countries. They assisted with event oversight throughout the feast, ensuring everything was going smoothly, and helped clean up when the event concluded. Our members agree this event was beneficial to spreading global culture and community to Eastlake students and staff through food and performances, ecstatic to be part of the effort.
