The AYLUS Basking Ridge chapter organized its concert at The Residence in Basking Ridge (Common Area, 219 Mt Airy Rd, Basking Ridge NJ 07920). A month before the event, local AYLUS members were invited to sign up to perform, and the concert featured 12 acts ranging from piano to cello, violin, and dance. One of our members even designed a beautiful program to guide the audience through the evening.
For our members, the concert was more than a performance—it was a reminder of why we serve. We saw firsthand how music, creativity, and genuine human interaction can brighten someone’s day, spark joy, and build bridges between generations. By the end of the day, it was clear that this event had created something lasting: a sense of community, mutual respect, and shared memories that both seniors and students would carry with them long after the final note.
