On October 11th, members of the Syosset AYLUS joined forces with the Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI) to extend their unwavering support for local environmental initiatives. Throughout the day, volunteers diligently engaged in the process of attaching stickers onto planting pots, and assisting with moving and sorting plants in the garden. Volunteers also were involved in a process where members diligently separated seeds from mature plants. This allowed for a larger storage of seeds. Members of AYLUS assisted LINPI and will continue to support our native plants.
