On November 20th, 2025, Great Neck AYLUS hosted another tutoring session at the Great Neck Library Station Branch from 6:00-7:00 pm. Seven students joined our tutoring session.
Junlin helped a 5th grade student with ratios in mathematics, and in the English language, different vocabularies, definitions and idioms. Summer helped a 6th grade student with difficult maths olympiad questions, involving a variety of mathematical topics. Brian helped two 7th graders with different subjects such as maths, science, but even a little social studies as well. Elaine Xiang helped 2 students with lower level maths, counting the different placements of large numbers and naming them. And lastly, Baiyu Chen, she had the pleasure to read story books to another student.
All volunteers worked diligently throughout the session, making the tutoring period both meaningful and impactful.
