Throughout September, AYLUS San Clemente members have donated the recyclable bottles collected from their households to local recycling centers. The bottles are put in trash bags and volunteers go on their own any day in September to sort the bottles by material at the recycling center and receive money in return. A total of $59.22 is being saved to be donated to the nearest Nature Reserve. This means our members are helping our planet by preventing plastic and other harmful materials from entering landfills and allowing plastic to be recycled and used for a better purpose. Thank you to all members who participated!
