Syosset AYLUS volunteers at CP Nassau home in Bayville 9/7/25

On September 7th, volunteers from the Syosset branch of AYLUS visited CP Nassau’s Bayville location. Volunteers began their visit by playing bowling with the residents, assisting the residents by wheeling them to the lane, helping them roll the ball, and resetting the pins. Some residents needed the volunteers help in order to be able to roll the ball, as they were unable to use the sufficient amount of strength on their own. Afterwards, the volunteers played hangman with the residents having them guess the words “umbrella, sitting on a beach, and AYLUS.” The visit ended with an engaging game of jeopardy on the Mii which all of the residents and volunteers participated in enthusiastically. Both volunteers and residents enjoyed the visit and shared laughs.
