On July 5th, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members gathered at the local recycling center to sort and collect bottles, which would soon be repurposed into something new! Their efforts were part of an ongoing initiative to engage youth in environmentally responsible activities, foster a sense of stewardship for the planet, and support a local animal shelter. By participating in this recycling event, they not only contributed to sustainability but also helped raise awareness and resources for animal welfare in the community. Through their hard work, the group raised a total of $36.69 in earnings. All proceeds will be donated to local animal shelters and sanctuaries, where the funds will go towards purchasing toys and food for animals in need.
