On July 27th, 2025, 7 Forsyth County AYLUS members went to Fowler Park to make cards for veterans and cancer patients. The members met up at 9:30 AM and finished making cards at 11:00, making a total of over 20 cards. The members were given the task of making cards for any purpose, but we mainly focused on making them for cancer patients. All of the materials were provided: paper, markers, pencils, pens, etc. We sent out a St. Jude list with cancer patients to our participants, and they wrote touching cards for each of the patients in the list. These cards will be mailed to the appropriate locations.
We used trash bags and gloves as materials.
