AYLUS Great Neck Branch Volunteered Farmers Market Fundraiser #4 7/13/2025

On June 13th, AYLUS Great Neck participated in the fourth Great Neck Park District Farmers Market. Our morning started at 9:30 when volunteers arrived early to secure a good spot and set up the required tables for our stand to function. The event started from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and we split the work into 2 shifts of 2 hours each. Each shift contains people who would run a face paint station, a custom fan-making station, cashiers, and we taught crocheting. Our homemade items include crocheted plushies, keychains, purses, and bracelets. Our crocheted plushies and keychains are by far the most popular items. The most popular service offered is face painting, with children often waiting in line to get their faces painted. Throughout the Farmers market, we successfully raised around 300$. We did extremely well to run stations and encounter no issues. Proceeds from the farmers market will be donated to various missions that help out the community and low-income families. While we did well, there are places of improvement, and we look forward to our next market.
