Physical activity and access to sports are vital components of a healthy and thriving community. In an effort to make tennis more accessible to local youth, McleanBranch of AYLUS hosted a free Tennis Clinic at the Longfellow middle school tennis courts on July 2, 2025. These clinics are part of our ongoing commitment to promoting fitness, mentorship, and inclusivity through youth-led service.
AYLUS volunteers led the clinic by teaching basic tennis techniques, helping participants develop coordination and confidence, organizing fun drills and games, and encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship. The clinic welcomed players of all levels and ages with 2 kids attending.
On 7/2/25, the following AYLUS Mclean members volunteered at the event, and each earned 1.5 volunteering hours from 7:00 pm to 8:30: Molin Ding (1.5 hours), Emma Tao (1.5 hours), and Emma Zhang (1.5 hours) We are proud to continue using our passions to make a positive difference in our community, one swing at a time!
