On June 11th, 2025, Murrieta AYLUS members helped at their local food bank.
After signing in, members started by organizing the deli, replenishing fruit/veggie bags, and making food boxes to prepare for clients. There were a lot of boxes stacked high up full of avocados, green zucchinis, and yellow squashes, so members separated and one went outside to make bags for them. Each bag included 10 avocados, 3 zucchinis, and 3 yellow squashes. After the 9 am morning meeting, members continued to work and pack food boxes, making sure each box had plenty of food, and making fruit bags when they were running low.
