Newtown AYLUS members hosted a holiday card making event

On Sunday 12/15/2024, members of ALYUS Newtown branch hosted a holiday card making event. Participants brought and shared color pencils, stickers, markers, templates, ideas. Members customized their cards, making them unique by drawing cheerful holiday themed pictures, adding colorful stickers and writing thoughtful and joyful messages. This collaborative effort was from 4:30-6:30pm. Several dozens of cards were designed and created which were later handed out to care for friends on Tuesday 12/17/2024.

The event was very successful. Everyone enjoyed the effort to support the community and bring cheer to the people in need during the holiday season. Participants also had an enjoyable time utilizing their creativity in cards making and socializing with each other.

8 members of the Aylus community all spent two hours participating in the event. They were Albert Chen (event leader), Eric Chen, Diana Zhang, Lucas Zhang, Randall Zhang, Lawrence Fang, Ivan Lee and Joseph Qiao.
