AYLUS Frisco & Plano Branch are thrilled to share the success of our recent holiday gifts drive event, and we want to thank everyone who contributed to making it such a meaningful and impactful experience. Together, we made a real difference for children in our community this holiday season.
We began by collecting new and gently used backpacks, which were essential for assembling school supply kits for local children. We were grateful to receive many generous donations, providing us with the perfect starting point to fill the backpacks with the materials they would need. In addition to the backpacks, we gathered relatively new crayons, handmade holiday cards and some small toys from our volunteers, adding a personal and festive touch to each package. These items truly made the gifts feel special and unique.
Once we had everything collected, we spent time carefully packing the backpacks, making sure each one was filled with the office supply organizer AYLUS donated and the thoughtful additions of the crayons, cards, small gifts. After everything was packed, we organized the donation and delivered the filled backpacks to Ms. Fang Wang, Early Childhood Instructional Specialist, who helped us deliver them to local Pre-K Centers, where they would have the most impact. It was heartwarming to know that the children would be receiving not only the necessary school supplies but also a little holiday cheer.
We couldn’t have done any of this without the generosity and dedication of everyone involved. Your hard work, kindness, and support truly made this event a success, and we are so grateful for each one of you who contributed in any way. Thank you for helping us spread joy and make a lasting difference for children in our community.
We would also like to express our gratitude to Ms. Fang Wang for her outstanding support in promoting AYLUS throughout the community and for her assistance with various fundraising opportunities.
