Frisco & Plano Branch Loops for Love Crocheting for Cancer Patients and for Fundraising on October 27th, 2024

On October 27th, 2024, 3 volunteers gathered together from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM to crochet small amigurumi items. During this event, our volunteers revisited a successful pattern to create a little bird amigurumi.  Not only did some of our new faces learn how to crochet, but we also improved our volunteers’ skills, and saw success in creating these amigurumi. Our volunteers completed some birds and we plan to meet again next week to complete the unfinished ones! These crochet items are to be gifted to the cancer patients at children’s hospitals, along with hats our volunteers also make, or to be sold in the flea market to raise funds for donations. Amazing job from our volunteers, and we hope to see them at the next group meeting as well!

Volunteers:
