On the morning of September 22, 2024, AYLUS members gathered at Frisco Public Library for a Loops for Love crochet workshop. There, more experienced AYLUS volunteers taught other volunteers how to crochet a hat. They taught some basic crochet skills like making a magic ring, crocheting a chain, a slip stitch, and how to double crochet. Using these skills, volunteers were able to start to crochet hats for the Loops for Love Project to donate to cancer patients. Overall, this event was a success with more new volunteers being trained to help with the Loops for Love Project.
