On July 16, 2024, AYLUS successfully held its first Art 4 Healing, showcasing volunteers’ artworks at a clinic. The purpose of Art 4 Healing is to bring comfort and healing to the patients and visitors through the display of our artwork. The project involved extensive preparation, promotion, selection, and the final exhibition, all of which required significant effort and time.
After I created the posters, we received numerous submissions from students via email. Among all the submissions, we selected nine artwork and asked the creators to frame their works themselves. Our volunteers then meticulously arranged the exhibition area, ensuring that each painting was presented in the best possible way. Every displayed artwork carried the creator’s heartfelt intention, bringing warmth and solace to the patients and visitors. We counted the time spent creating and setting up the paintings as volunteer service hours to acknowledge their contributions to this event.
