AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch Volunteers at TOYOTA ARENA on 01/14/2024
On January 14, 2024, AYLUS RC BRANCH had the privilege of having six volunteers participate in the fourth fundraising event for the Building Bright Futures children’s program. Among them were four new members, eager to contribute to this noble cause for the very first time. This ongoing series of events takes place at our local TOYOTA ARENA during the Empire Stryker’s Ball Toss event season. At each game, our team sets up soccer-themed gaming and ball-selling booths at the entrance to raise funds for children in need, with all proceeds dedicated to promoting their academic and personal success.
For the day’s activities, our volunteers were divided into two groups. One group managed the soccer-themed gaming booth, handling ticket sales and ball retrieval. Given the popularity of soccer among families attending the games, this activity was met with enthusiastic participation. The other group oversaw the ball-selling activity, meticulously packaging bags of balls with varying quantities and prices. Balls were available for purchase at $5, $10, and $15, catering to diverse preferences and budgets. Both activities proved to be highly successful, and before we knew it, four hours had passed.
Through our collective efforts, we were thrilled to have raised over $606 at this event. The success of our fundraising endeavors was truly exhilarating, reaffirming our belief in the power of community and our ability to make a positive impact in the lives of children in need. As volunteers, we take great pride in our contribution to promoting the academic and personal success of these children, and we remain committed to supporting this cause in any way we can.
The presence of new members further invigorated our team, injecting fresh energy and enthusiasm into our philanthropic endeavors. Together, we exemplified the spirit of compassion and altruism, demonstrating our unwavering dedication to serving the community and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As we look forward to future opportunities to continue our fundraising efforts, we remain steadfast in our commitment to Building Bright Futures and ensuring a brighter tomorrow for all children.
