Twin Cities Branch Volunteers at the Hot Dash 5K & 10K (3/23/24)
On a cold morning on March 23rd, 2024, AYLUS members volunteered their time at the Hot Dash 5K & 10K in support of Twin Cities in Motion. There were many varying shifts with volunteer hours from 3.5 to 4.5 hours. There were 3 main stations that AYLUS members participated in: Food Experience, Green Team, and Marshmallows. At the Food Experience station, volunteers collected tickets and served hot dogs from Uncle Franky’s to the runners. On the Green team, volunteers monitored Green Stations and educated runners on disposing waste properly. At the Marshmallow stand, volunteers distributed marshmallows to runners. This was a great opportunity to cheer on thousands of runners and interact and socialize with the community.
