On February 4th, 2024, seven members of the AYLUS Morrisville Branch volunteered at the annual Astronomy Day at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh. This event is a great way for us to engage with our communities, as it includes numerous technology, telescopes, talks by scientists, and hands-on activities. A variety of asteroids and meteorites, some of the oldest material in our solar system, were also on display for visitors.
We are excited to be a part of such an impactful event in our community to help people of all ages learn more about the exciting world of astronomy!
