On the morning of August 19, 2023, AYLUS members of the Frisco and Plano branch gathered at a predetermined postal center to package books in preparation for shipment to Africa. Previously, these books had all been sorted into grade categories by diligent members of the branch. All this is going to support Libraries of Love, a nonprofit organization that works in establishing free libraries in Africa. More information can be found at librariesoflove.org.
After carefully sealing all 18 boxes and ensuring that they wouldn’t be damaged during the shipping process, they were finally ready for shipment. We’re proud of our members for have completed so many steps in order to do this, and the following hours have been awarded to:
