From April 25th to 27th, , West Essex AYLUS volunteered for the Friends 2023 Annual Book Sale at the Millburn Public Library. It is a continuing project to help sort books for the annual book sale. On the 25th our member transported the boxes of books into the sale area and began unboxing and arranging the books by authors last name. On the 26th and 27th our member labeled boxes by letter to sort out the paperback adult fiction books, sorted adult novels, and also organized some of the children’s books.
The Friends 2023 Annual Book Sale
- Books Accepted: Mon 4/3/2023 – Sun 4/23/2023 only.
- Accepting in Good Condition: hardcovers, paperbacks, children’s books, vinyl records, DVDs.
- Please no textbooks, encyclopedias or magazines; CDs, VHS tapes; or any badly worn, soiled or torn books.
- Leave donations in the bins next to the elevator during regular library hours during the donation period.
- Member Preview Night: Thursday, May 4: 6:30pm – 8:30pm (Friends Members only, no joining at the door; please bring your Friends Membership Card as ID).
- Book Sale Regular Hours:
- Saturday, May 6: 9:30am – 5:00pm
- Sunday, May 7: 1:00pm – 4:30pm
