On August 23, 2026, members of the AYLUS Great Neck Branch gathered at Kings Point Park for another trail maintenance service project. Throughout the project, volunteers worked together to clear debris and obstacles while flattening sections of the park’s trails. Their efforts helped make the paths safer and more accessible for everyone visiting the park.
After completing approximately 400 meters of trail maintenance, the paths were significantly improved and easier to navigate. With the hard work of our AYLUS members, residents and visitors can now walk, jog, and run with less concern about tripping or encountering obstacles along the trails. This service project reflects AYLUS’s commitment to improving the community, protecting public spaces, and helping ensure that everyone can enjoy them safely.
Beyond improving the trails, the project also gave AYLUS members an opportunity to work together, socialize, and build friendships with others who share similar goals. Collaborating as a team strengthens our organization and allows us to make a greater impact within the community.
Through projects like this, the AYLUS Great Neck Branch continues to support the local community, care for the environment, and encourage members to make a positive difference in public spaces.
