AYLUS Basking Ridge members participated in Saturdays in Motion at the GSCY YMCA on 4/27/24. Today was their end of year party. All the volunteers are required to wear blue to match the party theme- Under the Sea. Our volunteers all helped set up the gym equipment before the session began. Once the session started, each volunteer paired up with a special needs kids and did various activities. The volunteers are responsible for monitoring their child’s safety while playing games and socializing with them. After the party, our volunteers helped to clean up the gym. On this day, there were about the same amount of kids as volunteers, so volunteers all took care of a single kid. All the kids had a great experience.
