AYLUS RC Branch Members Volunteer a clothing donation event on 10/01/2023
On October 1, 2023, our branch organized the second clothing donation drive of the year. This event coincided with another major Mid-Autumn Festival celebration hosted by our branch, resulting in a smaller turnout compared to the initial donation event. Despite this, nine dedicated members participated, collectively contributing 16 bags of clothing. Many individuals, even after a tiring day at the Mid-Autumn Festival, still made the effort to donate clothes, underscoring their unwavering commitment to community service.
The involvement of our members wasn’t the only highlight of the day; we also witnessed the generosity of our local community. Some residents, inspired by the spirit of giving, enthusiastically contributed donations on-site, further enriching the donation drive. Through this event, we once again experienced the warmth and solidarity within our community, as people came together to support those in need.

Elaine Wang, our main coordinator, leading by example with a remarkable three hours of continuous service. Her dedication and the collective effort of all volunteers ensured the success of the donation drive.
With the onset of colder weather approaching, our goal is to distribute the collected warm clothing to those who need it most, providing essential support as temperatures drop. This event not only served as a platform for giving back to the community but also reinforced the values of empathy and compassion that lie at the heart of our organization. As we reflect on the impact of this meaningful event, we are reminded of the strength of unity and the profound difference that even a small act of kindness can make in the lives of others.
