Four AYLUS Basking Ridge members participated in Saturdays in Motion at the GSCY YMCA on 3/16/24. The two volunteers that were new to SIM participated in a brief new volunteer training first. They all helped set up the gym equipment before the session began. Once the session started, each volunteer paired up with a special needs kids and did various activities. The volunteers are responsible for monitoring their child’s safety while playing games and socializing with them. On this day, there were way more kids than volunteers, so some volunteers needed to take care of multiple kids at a time. Therefore, we would like for more volunteers to join in the next SIM session.
